Some people need the help of others before they can recover. Lazarus fell sick.

“Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.”
Firstly, Lazarus was helped by his sisters, Mary and Martha.
The sent to call Jesus.
John 11:3 NKJV

Secondly, Lazarus was helped by his sister’s messengers.
His sisters’ messengers were faithful.
Proverbs 25:13 NKJV
“Like the cold of snow in time of harvest
Is a faithful messenger to those who send him, For he refreshes the soul of his masters.”
Jesus heard and answered the messengers.
John 11:4 NKJV
“When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”
The complex chain of events leading up to Lazarus’s recovery was building up.
Some recoveries are complicated and require patience.
Jesus seemed to react slowly. He delayed his trip to Bethany.
John 11:6 NKJV
“So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.”
It is necessary to trust completely in God for recovery.
Proverbs 3:5 NKJV
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;”
Jesus moved to go to Lazarus.
John 11:7 NKJV
“Then after this He said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.”
It was a dangerous trip.
John 11:8 NKJV
“The disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?”
Some helpers must overcome personal dangers to help others to recover.
May you recover all, as you go to church.
