Spiritual things often clash with natural things.

Ishmael was the product of a natural affair between Abraham and Hagar, but Isaac was birthed by miraculous faith.

“And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age…”
Abraham threw a party to celebrate the weaning of Isaac.
Genesis 21:8 NKJV
“So the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the same day that Isaac was weaned.”
Ishmael began to make fun of Isaac.
Genesis 21:9 NKJV
“And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, scoffing.”
Sarah took a decision that seemed harsh, but it was necessary.
Genesis 21:10 NKJV
“Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this bondwoman and her son; for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, namely with Isaac.”
Abraham was very unhappy about Sarah’s stance.
Genesis 21:11 NKJV
“And the matter was very displeasing in Abraham’s sight because of his son.”
However, God intervened on Sarah’s behalf.
Genesis 21:12 NKJV
“But God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.”
May all mockers against your progress be disappointed. May you overcome all adversities and enemies, in Jesus’s name.
