The apostles overcame Satan’s attacks by boldness and fearlessness.
Philippians 1:28 NKJV
“and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.”
The fearlessness of the Believers was a sign that their enemies would perish.
Christ died to destroy Satan
Hebrews 2:14 NKJV
“Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,”
Satan’s tyranny is founded upon fear. Christ died to free those that Satan had enslaved by fear.
Hebrews 2:15 NKJV
“and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
The apostles refused to give place to any fear in their lives.
Ephesians 4:27 KJV
“Neither give place to the devil.”
Fear is absolutely not from God.
2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Fear opens the door for Satan’s torment.
1 John 4:18 NKJV
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”
The apostles overcame the intimidation of the Sanhedrin by praying right prayers.
Acts 4:29 NKJV
“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,”
They prayed for all boldness, in the face of the Sanhedrin’s threats.
Their right prayers produced a mighty response from the Holy Ghost.
Acts 4:31 NKJV
“And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
May you discern the true solutions to every difficulty you face. May you pray right prayers and receive mighty miracles, in Jesus’s name.
