Paul and Barnabas preached a message of a Messiah, who both saves and heals.
Paul preached in Lystra and a crippled man heard him preach.
Acts 14:7-8 NKJV
“And they were preaching the gospel there. And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked.”
Paul preached a message that inspired faith in the man to be healed.

“This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed,”
Paul must have preached of a Saviour who both saves and heals, for the man to have faith to be healed.
Romans 10:17 NKJV
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
