Morning Message of Motivation

Paul and Barnabas: 18
Rev Robert Ampiah-Kwofi

The Roman soldier who pierced Christ’s side also caused His blood to be shed. This soldier played a great role in Christianity, without knowing what he was doing.
Hebrews 9:22 NKJV
“And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.”

The power of the “Blood of Jesus” is one of the central truths of the gospel.
The Blood of Jesus has paid the price for our eternal redemption.
Hebrews 9:12 NKJV
“Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.”

We were not redeemed with earthly treasures.
1 Peter 1:18-19 NKJV
“knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”

Our sins have been forgiven through the Blood of Christ.
Hebrews 9:22 NIV
“In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.”

Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper with bread and wine.
Matthew 26:26 NKJV
“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”

Christ blessed the cup of wine also which stands for His blood.
Matthew 26:27-28 NIV
“Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

The Blood of Jesus empowers the Believers to overcome Satan.
Revelation 12:11 NKJV
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

May the overcoming power of the Blood of Jesus, give you complete victory over the works of the devil. May you be blessed, in Jesus’s name.
