Paul continued his great sermon at Antioch in Pisidia.
Paul rehearses the time of the Judges till the time of Samuel.
Acts 13:20 NKJV
“After that He gave them judges for about four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.”
Paul then talks about Saul’s kingship and how God replaced him with David.
Acts 13:22 NIV
“After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’”
Paul was systematically building his sermon. He would now introduce our Lord Jesus Christ to his hearers, as the Seed of David, and a Saviour from God.

Acts 13:23 NKJV
“From this man’s seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior—Jesus—“
Paul refers to John the Baptist’s ministry as a preacher of repentance.
Acts 13:24 NKJV
“after John had first preached, before His coming, the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.”
John the Baptist said he was not the Christ.
John pointed the people to Jesus.
Acts 13:25 NKJV
“And as John was finishing his course, he said, Who do you think I am? I am not He. But behold, there comes One after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to loose.’”
